The life-changing power of God’s Word is the focus as invited guest testimony speakers share their encounters with God’s Word and how they came to receive Jesus as Lord and Savior.

Dan Spencer is Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church, Sevierville, Tennessee, and a current member of the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention Board of Trustees. He holds a Master of Arts in Religion from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary in Lynchburg, Virginia. We look forward to his teaching during three Bible Messages at the 2026 Convention.

Dr. Chris Roberts serves as Professor of Music at Fruitland Baptist Bible College in Hendersonville, North Carolina, and is also now serving in his first pastorate at Lattimore Baptist Church near Shelby, North Carolina, where he also leads the music ministry. He holds degrees from Gardner-Webb University, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and The Robert E. Webber Institute for Worship Studies. Dr. Roberts compliments his work in higher education and ministry to the local church by leading worship in conferences for a variety of religious organizations, including The Gideons International.
